​Our nature preschool is always looking for talented people to help us grow! If you have a background/interest in Waldorf and/or environmental education, please contact us, as our preschool is currently undergoing rapid expansion and though we have no immediate openings, we expect to be hiring again soon.

Cairn Hill’s mission is to bring the transformative power of the arts to young learners in urban and multi-ethnic communities using story, music, nature and the hands-on approach inspired by Waldorf education. Our nature preschool provides preschoolers aged 2.9 years-5 years with a high quality preschool experience incorporating inquiry–based, outdoor learning with explicit instruction in pre-literacy, math and science. We include art and music, nature walks and gardening and allow children time for valuable, creative play in a calm, nurturing environment. ​

In general, we seek dynamic, nurturing, energetic educators with a pioneering spirit and enthusiasm for bringing innovative, nature-based education to our families in and around Lynn, Massachusetts, a multi-ethnic community 15 miles north of Boston. 
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years preschool teaching experience 
· Ideally, familiarity with arts-based Early Childhood education +/or Environmental education 
· MA DEEC Lead Teacher Certification 
· Some experience working with dual language learners (DLLs) 
· Willingness to work outdoors in all weather 
· Love of children and warm, nurturing personality 
-Responsible and joyful
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
· Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Social Media, Blogging, etc.) 
· Collaborative, team player approach 
· Openness to networking and communicating with a progressive educational community with the goal of fusing public educational standards with innovative curricular methods. 
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
